重点是20 students are girls，20 students areboys 这两句话各是个完整的句子啊。能这样用吗？

首先,20 students are boys是多余的.前面部分已经暗含了这一句的意思在内了,一个人不是男的,就是女的,不可能有第3种情况存在.
去掉多余的部分后,剩下的两个分句用and连接,就更容易让人接受.后面分句最好加上they做主语.

第二个20students重复了吧，改为the rest。
当然能，后面还有一句话呢，所以可以并列。

这个班里有40个学生，20个女孩，20个男孩，都有玩具
